COLOGNE, Germany – Oracle Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen delivered an excellent podium finish for the team at the Belgian Grand Prix in his Red Bull Ford Powertrain RB22 car.
The Dutchman, who qualified second on the grid, crossed the finishing line in third place to secure Oracle Red Bull Racing’s 300th Formula 1 podium.
Teammate Isack Hadjar produced the drive of the day. Having qualified 10th, the Frenchman lined up 21st after the team opted to take engine upgrades at this race. Undeterred, Hadjar used Spa's long straights and generous overtaking zones to climb through the field, gaining 15 places to cross the line sixth - a standout recovery race.
There were points too for Visa Cash App Racing Bull’s Arvid Lindblad. The rookie qualified in seventh, his best qualifying position so far, and bought the car home in ninth, extending his run to a fifth consecutive points-scoring weekend. Teammate Liam Lawson started 9th and finished 12th.
