Apple CarPlay EV Routing will be expanding to F-150 Lightning owners.

Ford is continuing to make the EV charging experience seamless for our customers with the addition of Apple Maps EV Routing in CarPlay for the F-150 Lightning. Ford was the first automaker to offer the feature in the Mustang Mach-E, now Ford and Apple have built on that collaboration.

Apple Maps will calculate the estimated state of charge from point A to point B, and route to a charging station along the way if needed. Click to Enlarge

If you have an F-150 Lightning or Mustang Mach-E and love using CarPlay, simply enter your trip details in CarPlay and Apple Maps will then calculate the estimated state of charge from point A to point B, and route to a charging station along the way if needed.
