Ford Australia this week outlined the next chapter of its story at "Ford Uncovered,” a major media, dealer and employee event held in Melbourne — and the team has plenty to be proud of!
It's the first in a series of Ford Uncovered events rolling out across IMG in the coming months. The event in Australia showcased a new wave of multi-energy products and initiatives spanning commercial, performance and adventure vehicle lines, backed by a big ambition: doubling coverage of the Australian market to over 60% within three years, with 90%+ of volume sold to be all-new or significantly refreshed by the end of 2030.
Key product news included the Bronco Basecamp, an adventure SUV powered by Ford's first super hybrid extended-range electrified powertrain, arriving in the second half of 2027; the all-electric Transit City, with customer deliveries starting November 2026; and an Australian-exclusive Mustang Dark Horse with T8-Spec Pack, developed with local motorsport powerhouse Triple Eight Race Engineering, arriving Q4 2026.
The team also launched Ford Pro locally — bringing vehicles, customisation, finance, service and software into one ecosystem for commercial customers — and announced a new Seven-Year Warranty for all new Ford vehicles serviced through the 180-strong national dealer network.
