Ford Middle East welcomed six media representatives from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait for a Ford Uncovered hot-weather testing experience. The event gave attendees an immersive look at how regional Product Development team evaluates upcoming vehicles in extreme temperatures and demanding driving conditions of the Middle East.
In temperatures exceeding 50°C, guests saw how Ford vehicles are engineered, tested and validated for the region. The experience included the Everest V6, as well as the Ranger Wildtrak X and other vehicles, under NDA. Media also previewed the Territory Platinum and Taurus Halo, both under embargo, showcasing the strength of Ford’s upcoming product portfolio and our continued commitment to the region.
Following the drive sessions, guests returned to camp for a closer look at the vehicles, dedicated content-capture time and conversations with Product Development team members. These discussions provided further insight into Ford’s vehicle development and testing processes.
Ford Uncovered gave media a perspective beyond the finished product, offering firsthand access to the engineering, research, development and testing that help prepare vehicles for the Middle East’s climate, terrain and driving conditions. The experience also created opportunities for more informed technical stories and content for audiences across the region.
