Verstappen Secures Third in Monza - Red Bull Ford Powertrains' Sixth Podium of the Season

MONZA, Italy - A dramatic Italian Grand Prix at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza saw Max Verstappen battle his way to a third-place finish for Oracle Red Bull Racing in Round 13 of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Verstappen qualified sixth and lined up fifth on the grid and quickly moved into the fight at the front, chasing down race leader and going wheel-to-wheel on lap 14. From there, Verstappen stayed in the hunt and brought the car home in third to claim another podium and valuable championship points.

Stepping up to Oracle Red Bull Racing in place of the injured Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson qualified 14th and had to start from the pit lane after taking a grid penalty. He fought his way back into the field and finished 14th, making the most of a difficult start to the race.

At Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, Arvid Lindblad continued his impressive rookie campaign with another impressive drive, qualifying 10th, starting ninth and finishing eighth, his eighth top ten finish of the season.

Yuki Tsunoda also came through with a strong recovery drive. Starting 15th after qualifying 17th, he worked his way into the points to finish 10th and give Visa Cash App Racing Bulls another valuable result.

The double points finish for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls builds upon their fifth place in the Constructors Championship.

The FIA Formula 1 World Championship continues next weekend in Madrid at the Spanish GP.
