MADRID, Spain - Max Verstappen secured second place at the Spanish Grand Prix, the first race to take place at the Madring circuit in Madrid during Round 14 of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
His second-place finish delivered the seventh podium of the season for Oracle Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Ford Powertrains, as Formula 1 returned to Madrid for the first time in 45 years.

Verstappen qualified third and converted his strong qualifying position into a second-place finish. Liam Lawson also impressed, qualifying eighth and bringing the car home sixth to add further points to Oracle Red Bull Racing's tally on a historic weekend for the sport in Spain.
For Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, Arvid Lindblad continued his impressive qualifying form, reaching Q3 for the 10th consecutive race. Starting 10th, he went on to finish ninth, and teammate Yuki Tsunoda qualified 15th and finished 14th.

Beyond the track, Ford brought its own off-road experience to the Madring as the circuit’s official mobility partner. Ford created a dedicated off-road track within the circuit, delivering a rally-inspired activation that gave guests the opportunity to experience passenger laps in vehicles such as the Ford Raptor T1+, Ranger Raptor and Mustang Mach-E Rally. The FIA Formula 1 World Championship continues in Baku, Azerbaijan on 27th September.
