AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – Last Sunday, Megaland in Landgraaf — still known by many as the legendary Pinkpop site — was once again taken over by the blue oval, roaring engines, and decades of Ford history. The European Ford Event (EFE), organised by the Ford XRST Club, attracted over 1,500 enthusiasts to southern Netherlands this year. The organisers proudly describe it as "the biggest Ford event on mainland Europe!" Represented were 45 clubs from various countries, including not only those from neighbouring countries, but also from Greece, Denmark and France.
EFE has been held annually since 1993 on the second weekend of September and attracts visitors from home and abroad. The figures from recent years highlight the event’s popularity: with a record number of visitors in 2025, a huge turnout on the club lane, an extensive market area, the Show & Shine competition and, of course, the spectacular slalom and sprint, it has grown into a comprehensive Ford event. From rusty classics to the latest models, from show cars to tuned performance cars, they were all on display in Landgraaf on Sunday. Over 40 volunteers were on hand during the event to ensure that all activities ran smoothly.
