2026 Ford Puma Black Edition
3,531 new Pumas were registered in the UK in July - 200 more than the second-placed Nissan Qashqai. Year-to-date, Puma also tops the sales chart with 33,173 units registered which is 4,140 more than nearest challenger Kia Sportage.
In other good news for Ford, Transit Custom continues to dominate the UK CV market. Last month 5,756 Transit Customs were registered, while Transit registrations hit 2,513 units placing it second.
Year-to-date, 28,756 Transit Customs and 14,129 Transits have been registered in the UK. Their closest challenger, Volkswagen Transporter, has 10,200 units. Ranger also continues to reign supreme in the UK with 5,345 units registered year-to-date.

E-Transit Custom AWD
Ford also topped the all-electric CV sales chart in July with 1,271 units registered in the UK, representing a 26.9 per cent share of segment and a 11.7 per cent EV mix of total Ford CV registrations.
Across all brands, 43,106 battery electric passenger cars were registered in the UK in July – an increase of 44.5 per cent compared with the same month in 2025. Puma Gen-E (11th), was the best-selling Ford product in the sector last month, followed by Explorer (21st). Overall, Ford was the 11th best-selling EV passenger brand in the UK last month.
