How Pro Power Onboard Energised Poland’s Largest Cycling Festival this Summer

Aug 26, 2026

WARSAW, Poland – Poland’s largest cycling festival kicked off earlier this month, and Ford was there in force providing support vehicles and mobile service units equipped with Ford Pro Power Onboard.

It was the fourth time the company has partnered with Joy Ride to showcase Ford vehicles in practical roles. A fleet of Ford Ranger Plug-in Hybrids helped the Joy Ride team with event preparations, handling equipment transport and daily tasks across the mountainous terrain. Transit Custom MS-RT, Ranger Raptor and Bronco were also in the thick of the action at the summit of Kotelnica.

Ford Poland also prepared two mobile bike service units for the festival. The first was based on the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid and equipped with a repair stand, a full set of tools, a compressor, and a pressure washer. These devices were powered by the Pro Power Onboard system, which allows the pickup to function as a mobile power source.

The second service unit was prepared by Wikar Nowy Sącz using a Transit van from the Ford Mobile Service program fleet. Its interior featured a fully functional workshop setup, complete with a workbench, storage cabinets, and a comprehensive tool kit.

Meanwhile, Transit Custom MS-RT served as the technical support vehicle for the Ford Team, comprising brothers Michał and Maciej Sztorc. Michał finished the Garmin Enduro competition in 4th place in the Men’s Masters 1 Race category, while Maciej took 5th place in the Men’s E-bike (under 34) category.

The Ford Driving Skills For Life zone, provided by Ford Philanthropy, was also a key part of yje company’s presence at the event. Specialists there explained the principles of safely sharing the road among drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and e-scooter users. Participants learned how to identify hazards, understood the consequences of distraction, and were introduced to the "Dutch Reach" method.

Ford’s presence at Joy Ride demonstrated the wide range of applications for its vehicles—from transport and technical support to off-grid power supply and the promotion of road safety education.
