May 20, 2026

CRAIOVA, Romania - Ford Otosan today marked an historic milestone as the one-millionth Puma rolled off the assembly line at Craiova.

Launched in 2019, the Ford Puma has consistently been Ford’s best-selling passenger car in Europe. Reaching the one million mark confirms its continued appeal, underpinned by its smart design, practical innovations such as the MegaBox, and highly efficient hybrid and full-electric powertrains.

"We’re proud to produce the iconic Ford Puma model in our Craiova factory, this being the best-selling Ford car in Europe and also a model with excellent results in recent years, especially in the UK market," said Fırat Elhüseyni , President of Ford Otosan Romania. "This historic milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of the people who have worked in this plant over time. They are the real driving force behind this success and I thank them for their constant effort to deliver excellence."
