Ford Thailand Racing (FTR) kicked off the 2026 Thailand Super Series (TSS) race season with an impressive total of eight podium finishes across the first three rounds.
Leading the charge was the Ford Ranger No. 18, driven by Kantadhee Kusiri, who delivered a standout performance with six trophies in the opening three rounds, including first place Overall and first place in Class A during the second round. Meanwhile, Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik, driving the Ford Ranger No. 3, secured two trophies from the first round.
To celebrate the motorsport season, Ford Thailand also hosted an exclusive event at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram province, welcoming Ford customers, employees, and partners to cheer on the team, enjoy exciting ‘Hot Laps’ passenger rides, and meet the drivers in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In all three rounds, Kantadhee Kusiri delivered a strong run in the Ford Ranger Single Cap No.18, powered by a 3.0-liter V6 Turbo developed by Aurora Design Dynamics. He started from pole position in Round 1 and finished 1st in Class A and 2nd Overall. In Round 2, he continued his strong form to claim victory in both Class A and Overall, finishing about 16 seconds ahead of the runner-up. In Round 3, despite carrying more than 90 kilograms of ballast and starting from the fifth on the grid due to the race regulations, he fought hard to secure a 2nd in Class A and 3rd Overall.
Sandy Stuvik drove the Ford Ranger Single Cab 3.0-liter V6 Turbo No. 3, developed by YK Motorsports. Starting from sixth on the grid in the first round after qualifying, he showcased his experienced driving skills and sharp cornering to secure 4th in Class A and 5th Overall. In the third round, although Stuvik finished 16th, he demonstrated incredible racing spirit on the track by aggressively overtaking 12 positions after starting from 29th on the grid.
Meanwhile, Thanaphon Chucharoenpon, drove the Ford Ranger No. 15 developed by Aongdo Motorsport, added further excitement on track. In Round 1, he started from 26th on the grid, and pushed hard before retiring due to technical issues, but his performance reflected his determination and racing spirit throughout the race.
The weekend brought immense excitement and generated a huge buzz in the motorsport community for Ford Thailand as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. More importantly, this success reinforces our Racing DNA—encompassing our team's spirit, the drivers' exceptional skills, and the performance of the powerful V6 engine in the Ford Ranger that propelled our race trucks to eight podiums.
