Loads Better! Meet the New Two-Seater Ranger Double Cab

Apr 16, 2026

DUNTON, UK – Ford has launched a new two-seat Ranger Double Cab for UK customers, making it the compelling pickup choice for carrying an even greater breadth of tools, equipment and goods.

The new addition to the Ranger portfolio adds yet another layer of versatility for customers who may not want, need or use the rear seats in their Ranger — in many cases using this space to store the equipment they need for long working days.

With no rear seats, this space can now be better utilised as a dedicated storage area to keep those belongings warm and dry where the load bed isn’t suitable.

Significantly, this new Ranger variant is engineered for the carrying of goods. That means eligible customers should be able to claim 100 per cent plant and machinery allowance and apply the flat rate company van benefit-in-kind (BIK).

Roy Williams, Ranger & LCV Product Manager for Ford of Britain and Ireland, told @Ford: “We know that Ranger customers buy them for their capability, off-road ability, towing capacity and hard-earned reputation as reliable, practical workhorses for businesses and sole traders.

“The Ranger Double Cab 2-Seat features a robust bulkhead behind the seats, aluminium panels in place of glass windows, a new loadspace liner and heavy-duty floor with anchor points — creating an ideal storage area for toolboxes and work equipment.”

The new Ranger Double Cab 2-Seat will initially launch in Wildtrak trim with both PHEV and diesel powertrains. Ford plans to broaden the offering later this year and beyond.

Roy adds: “This new model is testament to our dedication to provide a Ranger for everyone and every use case, and our commitment to keep evolving the Ranger lineup to provide solutions that work hard for our hard-working customers— including models specifically configured for carrying goods.”
