Ford Vietnam Opens a New Chapter for Mustang Mach-E with a Stronger Customer Ecosystem

Apr 21, 2026

When Mustang Mach-E launched in Vietnam in August 2025, it marked Ford’s first step in bringing a new kind of electric vehicle experience to the market. Since then, Ford Vietnam has continued to learn from customers’ real feedback and expectations around EV ownership, not only about the vehicle itself, but about how easy and reassuring it feels to live with every day.

Those learnings are now shaping the next chapter for Mustang Mach-E in Vietnam. Ford Vietnam is evolving the proposition with a stronger focus on accessibility, convenience and ownership confidence, moving beyond product introduction to build a more complete ecosystem around the customer.

In Vietnam, that ecosystem starts with charging access. Mustang Mach-E customers today can access more than 350 public charging points nationwide, including 43 at Ford’s dealers and 89 at partner’s network by Q4 2026.

Ford Vietnam is also making the charging journey easier through integration with VETC, a widely used electronic toll collection and digital traffic payment platform in Vietnam. Because many local drivers already use VETC in everyday mobility, the integration helps make EV charging feel more familiar and convenient. For Mustang Mach-E customers, it can help simplify charger discovery, availability checking and cashless payment within one connected platform.

This stronger ownership proposition is now being supported by a more accessible price point, with Mustang Mach-E listed at 1.699 billion VND (previously 2.499 billion VND). Early market response has also been encouraging, with about 40 vehicles sold within two weeks of the refresh.

Alongside these ownership enhancements, Ford Vietnam is also creating new lifestyle touchpoints to make Mustang Mach-E feel more relevant to a younger premium audience. One example is the Ford Private Experience with Lý Hoàng Nam, the Champion of pickleball in Vietnam recently, which brings the vehicle into Vietnam’s growing elite pickleball community through storytelling and selected test drive experiences. This helps connect Mustang Mach-E not only with functional ownership needs, but also with a more modern and culturally relevant customer space.

Together, these efforts reflect a more localized and customer-centered approach to electric mobility in Vietnam, one that makes Mustang Mach-E not only more compelling to choose, but easier to own over time.
