Following the opening of Ford Vietnam’s Training Center earlier this year, Ford Vietnam marked another AutoTech milestone in Vietnam on April 6, 2026, at Sao Do University in Hai Duong. In collaboration with AIP Foundation, the company donated training equipment, awarded AutoTech scholarships and supported internship opportunities to help automotive students build practical skills for their future careers.
As part of the program, Ford Vietnam donated training equipment to the university’s automotive faculty, including an engine, a transmission and a vehicle door. These resources will support hands-on learning and give students more direct exposure to vehicle technology and workshop practice.
Ford Vietnam and AIP Foundation also awarded 20 AutoTech scholarships to students with strong academic and personal performance, including female students in technical fields and automotive engineering students. The scholarships recognize student achievement and encourage more young people to pursue technical careers in the automotive industry.
The program also helps connect students with real dealership experience. Following the scholarship ceremony, participating Ford dealerships conducted interviews to select final-year students for the internship program. Selected students will complete a 3.5-month placement at Ford dealerships designated by Ford Vietnam, where they will begin with Level 0 e-learning on the STARS system, learn to use Ford technical resources on PTS, and receive foundational training in maintenance, Pre-Delivery Inspection and Ford diagnostic tools such as IDS and FDRS. At the end of the program, interns will be assessed on their learning progress and are expected to achieve Level 0 certification.
As a follow-up to Ford Vietnam’s earlier investments in technical education and training infrastructure, this latest AutoTech activity reflects the company’s long-term commitment to developing future talent, strengthening the connection between education and industry, and supporting service quality across its dealer network nationwide.
