Ford is more than just a workplace for many of us; it is a "home." It is a stage for professional growth, a community filled with heart, and a place where dreams are empowered.

Today, instead of focusing on grand corporate narratives, we want to share those authentic, personal "Ford Moments"—the snapshots frozen in time that live deep within the memories of our Ford family members.

Walking Together: From Humble Beginnings to Steady Progress

At Ford, the career journeys of many young professionals are infused from day one with the "genes" of warmth and growth.

@Phil Feng (2016 GT) looks back at a group photo filled with youthful smiles: “That GT group photo marks the starting point of our lifelong friendships. It also bears witness to the two years of meticulous nurturing Ford provided to shape our professional foundations. These bonds have quietly integrated into our daily collaborations, turning into the unspoken chemistry of efficient communication and the bedrock of our deep sense of belonging.”

In the "foundry" of Ford, raw talent is tempered into professional excellence, and precious camaraderie is forged. When a dream crystallizes into a physical vehicle, the sense of achievement is profound. Phil still vividly remembers: “The day the 2019 Ford Escort celebrated its Job 1 rollout. Seeing it transform from a drawing into a real car—that feeling of pride and fulfillment still resonates in my heart today.”

Life’s Milestones: A Witness to the Years

Ford is not just a career stage; it is a loyal friend, silently witnessing the most important chapters of our lives.

@Luke Rong’s story is a series of "firsts" linked by a single thread: “My first job, at Ford; that unforgettable onboarding training, at Ford; my girlfriend becoming my wife, at Ford; my 25th anniversary, at Ford; and now my 30th anniversary, still at Ford.”

These few words carry immense weight. From the greenness of a new hire to the joy of marriage and the shared milestones of the company, Ford has been a warm harbor, carrying his most vital memories and becoming an indispensable part of his life’s journey.

15 Years of Craftsmanship: When Experience Becomes Wisdom

There are also those at Ford who, through long-term dedication, have turned time into valuable wisdom.

@Vera Zheng from Ford Credit shared her story with humor and sincerity: “I joined Ford Credit in 2010. I vaguely remember my first day—eyes bright and full of expectations for the future. Today, my daily 'must-have' is a pair of reading glasses.”

Vera also shared the "secret recipes" handed down by mentors—details about financial modeling and data alignment that reveal the rigor and wisdom unique to Ford Credit: “For example, in financial modeling, the formula section must be in black font (meaning: do not touch!), while manual inputs are in blue font (blue represents freedom and imagination—though blue cells are rare, showing how precious 'freedom' is in a model). Finally, a blue oval is circled around a reliable concluding figure (signifying: we made it). These habits have truly benefited me for a lifetime.”

“15 years is not the finish line, but a new starting point. Recently, a teammate encouraged me by saying: '40 is the prime age to go for it.' I am grateful for Ford; we are all in the same boat together!”

A Decade of Companionship: From Youth to Responsibility

Ten years is a significant milestone in a career and a transition in life stages. For @Elvis Yu, his decade-long bond with Ford is deeply moving: “It all began in 2015 at Zijin Plaza. I was 26, Employee No. 88, and lucky enough to join the Ford family.”

Ten years is enough time for a young man to mature and for a single professional to become a new father. Ford has been a constant friend, witnessing every drop of progress in his life.

Marks of Time: The "English Zone" Days

Corporate culture is built by every employee. At Ford, we don't just build great products; we build a vibrant community.

@Angel Ding’s memories take us back to the early days of the REC: “At that time, the company placed great importance on improving English proficiency. With the boss’s blessing, I 'recruited' a team and launched a project that lasted for years—the English Zone.”

The English Zone featured weekly English songs, movie screenings, vocabulary contests, and jokes. “I remember my boss once took a printed joke to the HR Director to jokingly complain that his feelings were hurt. It turned out to be a joke about an Irish drunkard—and he was Irish!”

The "Friday Movie Show" was a highlight. Angel recalled: “I saw many great films for the first time through this program—Notting Hill, Love Actually, Ratatouille, The Pursuit of Happyness, Erin Brockovich. Once, after I mentioned how much I loved the music in Notting Hill, I found a soundtrack CD on my desk the next day—a personal collection given to me by a colleague.”

New Energy: Rising to the Challenge

Ford always keeps its arms open for new talent from different industries. Here, they find the courage to overcome challenges.

@Luo Cheng, a Battery Energy Control Module Hardware Engineer who joined in 2024, admitted: “Coming from a non-automotive industry, I was a bit intimidated at first, fearing I wouldn’t be up to the task.”

However, Ford didn't let him face it alone. By utilizing the company’s learning resources and departmental design standards, he gradually mastered the business and successfully designed circuits that met all requirements. “Escaping anxiety doesn't work; you must face it head-on and work harder,” he reflected. Participating in the "Ford Bronco Camp" (烈马创造营) further allowed him to feel the passion and vitality of the team.

Continuing the Dream

@Casey Chen’s story is about a dream fulfilled across two decades: “20 years ago, my high school teacher asked: 'What is your dream?' I said: 'I hope that one day I can drive a car that I helped develop, with my kid and family in the back, going out for an adventure.' 20 years later, that car is the Ford Edge L.”

These stories, coming from different roles and different years of service, converge into a warm "gravitational wave." These moments are like stars scattered across time, coming together to light the path forward.
