International Women's Day: Robyn Carter, Ford Australia

From manufacturing floors to customer experience strategy, these leaders are shaping the future of Ford, each in their own distinct way.

Robyn Carter leads programme control for two major vehicle programs. A good day? Completing all reporting and presentations, clearing emails and queries, and helping move things forward.

She joined Ford in 2013 as a contractor in Program Purchasing when the team numbered 24 people managing T6 Programs. Subsequent restructures have reshaped the team multiple times, and today she's the longest-serving member of a seven-person Australia-based team team.

One of the things she loves about her work is using her experience to help others grow. "I try and lead by example employing data-driven insights, meticulously crafted reports, and relentless follow-ups to help colleagues learn and improve."

One habit she considers an asset: processing all emails same day. She likes an empty inbox. What makes her proudest? Being an active Ford family member. She owned Fords for 25 years before joining the company, bringing a genuine passion that's only deepened through her work and participation as Events Coordinator for the Women of Ford ERG.
