Ford Vietnam is expanding workforce development initiatives that help deliver a more consistent, customer-centered service experience across its dealer network.
On March 6, 2026, Ford Vietnam inaugurated a new Learning Center in Ho Chi Minh City at Campus 2 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. A second Learning Center in Hai Phong is also scheduled to begin operations in June 2026, strengthening training capacity nationwide.
The Learning Center network is expected to support approximately 4,500 dealer personnel each year, including around 500 technicians receiving advanced technical training. The Ho Chi Minh City facility spans 736 square meters and features classroom space and six hands-on work bays equipped for training on repair and new vehicle technologies, alongside Guest Experience Management (GEM) curriculum.
At the same time, through Ford Philanthropy, Ford Vietnam launched the AutoTech Scholarship to expand access to automotive technical education. Implemented with Sao Do University (Hai Phong) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, the program supports high-achieving students, encourages greater participation from female students, assists students with financial need, and provides internship opportunities within Ford’s dealer network. The scholarships provided to students are estimated to total up to VND 1 billion.
Together, the Learning Center and AutoTech Scholarship continues to strengthen dealer capability today while building a pipeline of future technicians to support long-term growth and sustainable community development in Vietnam.
