DUNTON, UK – Ford’s record-setting Mustang GTD is coming to Dunton in April, giving UK-based employees a chance to see the ultimate pony car in the flesh for the first time.
The road-legal racer will be on display outside main reception on Wednesday April 15 from 12.30-13.30 where Mike Laird and Chris Linney will give a product overview and answer any questions you might have. It also is a great opportunity to take photos.
Last year, Mustang GTD made history by becoming the first American car to lap the Nürburgring in under seven minutes.
Powered by a supercharged 5.2-litre V8 that produces 815 horsepower (826 PS) and 664 pound-feet of torque (900 Nm), and with aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, and inboard-rear suspension with semi-active dampers, it clocked 6 minutes 52 seconds around the legendary “Green Hell’ racing circuit in the Eifel Mountains in Germany.
