Ford Argentina Opens Its Doors to a Community Donation Drive

Nov 04, 2026

A morning of solidarity brought together Ford employees, neighbors and volunteers at the Pacheco Plant in Buenos Aires province. For the first time, the company’s facility served as a collection point for the Solidarity Mission, a donation drive organized by Argentine radio station Urbana Play, through its program Perros de la Calle, and Fundación Sí.

Ford opened the plant’s visitor parking lot as a collection point. There, more than 30 company volunteers welcomed people bringing nonperishable food, hygiene and cleaning supplies, diapers, clothing, shoes, toys, school supplies, towels and bed linens.

Throughout the morning, donations filled two Ford Transit vans and a Ford Ranger. Everything collected at the Pacheco Plant was given to La Chata Solidaria, an organization that works with communities in El Impenetrable, in northern Argentina. This year marks ten years of collaboration between Ford and the organization.

Ford ambassadors also joined the event: actresses Agustina Cherri and Sabrina Garciarena; actor Facundo Arana; sports journalist Martín Altberg; former rugby player and commentator Juan Martín Hernández; racing driver and Formula 1 commentator Juan “Cochito” López; and athlete Agustina Albertario. Urbana Play was also at the plant to cover the event.

The Club Ranger Argentina, a Ford Ranger owners’ club, also took part in the Solidarity Mission once again, helping distribute donations collected at Fundación Sí’s headquarters to locations across the City of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires area.

The initiative reflects Ford Argentina’s commitment to communities, which is also expressed through the Ford Building Together program, and the value of working alongside organizations and individuals to support those in need.
