Transit Custom Crowned Van of the Year 2027 by Dutch Jury

DUNTON, UK - The Ford Transit Custom has been named Van of the Year 2027 by Dutch trade publication Automotive Online.

This prestigious award underscores the strong position held by the Transit Custom and Ford Pro in the Dutch commercial vehicle market. The competition jury evaluated the nominated commercial vehicles based on various aspects crucial to the business market, including functionality, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), sustainability, dealer network and support, and visual appeal.

Jury chair Jasper Engel said: “The Transit Custom has long been a mainstay in the mid-sized van segment. It is highly versatile and excels in customization. The jury appreciates its functionality, safety, driving dynamics, and favourable operating costs. Its strong dealer network is another plus. Precisely because it scores highly across the board, that complete package proved decisive in a highly competitive field.”
