Ford’s Garcia Family Shines on ‘Family Feud,’ Wins More Than $20K

Feb 04, 2026

Jason Garcia, process coach at Woodhaven Stamping Plant, took the title of Ford’s “Ultimate Football Fan” in last year’s competition on @BlueOvalNow. Now, he and his family won over $20,000 in an “Ultimate Football Fan” competition on the syndicated “Family Feud.”

Garcia and his family’s episode aired Tuesday, Feb. 3 on CBS/62 in the Detroit area. The Family Feud competition leads up to the “big game” football championship on Feb. 8. Click here to watch the family’s Fast Money round on YouTube.

“Being on Family Feud was such a great experience for our family,” Garcia said Wednesday after the episode aired. “Everyone we worked with from the show was always so nice. With the nerves and the fast pace of the recording, they kept us as calm as possible.

“Steve Harvey was genuine and hilariously funny. Winning was so exhilarating, even though we were 16 points from taking the fast money round! I want to thank my family, friends, and all of my Ford family for the continuing support through it all. It was a long time to keep the results a secret, but it was definitely worth the wait. This is something we will never forget!”

The “Family Feud" venture is tied into the Ford competition in a way. Garcia went home and told his wife, Sharlene, that he made the top 10 in the contest. That got her thinking. She had just seen a notice that “Family Feud” was looking for football fans for a future show. She put together a skit that involved each of the family members competing. It was so novel, Garcia said, that the producers called them shortly after getting the video.

Joining Garcia and his wife on the episode were son Kristopher and his wife Jodie, along with daughter Aleigh.
