Driving Progress On and Off the Course with the LPGA

Jan 29, 2026

At Ford, we believe in putting passion to work. For over 120 years, we've shown up for our customers and communities with a unique blend of grit, optimism and resilience, consistently keeping an eye on the future.

Here's what that looks like today: Ford is becoming the exclusive vehicle partner of the LPGA Tour — but not in the way you might expect.

We're not just sponsoring tournaments. We're investing in the careers, capabilities and futures of the next generation of professional athletes who embody the same qualities that have defined Ford since day one.

When we first explored this partnership, we could have taken the easy route. A tournament here, some signage there, call it a day. But that's not the Ford way, and that's not what these athletes deserve.

Women's sports are experiencing unprecedented growth, yet female athletes still face significant challenges building their brands, securing sponsorships and developing the business acumen needed for long-term success.

By investing in these athletes early in their careers — providing mentorship, amplifying their voices, and giving them platforms to grow — we're helping level the playing field. We're demonstrating that Ford doesn't just talk about human capability and potential; we invest in it.

Investing in the Future of Women's Sports

We’re calling it our "Power Her Drive" mentorship program — a year-round initiative that goes far beyond golf. We're identifying LPGA players who are less than two years into their professional careers and pairing them with experienced mentors for four business leadership conferences throughout the season.

These aren't your typical sponsor meet-and-greets. We're talking about real professional development: leadership skills, personal brand building, networking and community involvement — the tools these athletes need to build sustainable careers both during and after their time on the tour.

You might wonder: Why is an automotive company investing in mentorship programs for professional golfers?

Here's the thing. We believe in the power of human capability and potential. Whether you're behind the wheel of a Bronco tackling challenging terrain, experiencing the thrill of a Mustang Mach-E or standing over a crucial putt with your career on the line, it's about having the tools, support and confidence to perform at your highest level.

The LPGA athletes embody the same qualities we celebrate in our vehicles and our customers: determination, resilience, innovation and the drive to push boundaries. When we support them, we're reinforcing what Ford stands for — a brand that helps people do the things they love and feel capable doing them.

What's Next

As a league-wide partner, Ford’s presence will extend well beyond the tournament grounds. Throughout the year, you’ll experience Ford’s impact across social and digital platforms as we introduce you to our “Power Her Drive” ambassadors and inspire the next generation of the sport.

This is about more than golf. It's about progress. It's about potential. It's about using Ford's platform and resources to make a real difference in women's sports while staying true to who we are as a brand.

I couldn't be more proud of this partnership, and I can't wait to see where it takes us and the incredible athletes we're supporting in the years ahead.
