Ford Thailand, the Sati Foundation, and the Mirror Foundation joined forces in September to organize three major activities during Global Caring Month. More than 100 Ford employees and dealers volunteered to improve education and healthcare, applying the full power of Ford – employee expertise, company resources and dealer partnerships – to uplift communities. Ford Philanthropy also contributed a total of USD 55,000 to support the three programs, including USD 27,000 dedicated to the Ride to Recovery program.
Dream Builder for School: Building Youth’s Futures with a Better Environment and Widened Career Perspectives
On September 17, more than 50 volunteers, from Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM), AutoAlliance (Thailand) (AAT), and Ford Ek Group dealer, joined Sati Foundation at Baan Pak Praek School in Rayong province. Volunteers improved the school’s facilities—installing clean water and electrical systems, repairing drainage, painting restrooms, and creating a vegetable garden—to provide students with a safer, more supportive place to learn. They also led a “Know Your Potential” workshop for over 100 secondary school students where Ford employees mentored youth on career paths and soft skills for future success.
Ford Freshens Lives: Promoting Hygiene for the Homeless
On September 26, around 50 Ford volunteers and dealers partnered with the Mirror Foundation at Bangkok’s Fresh Station located under Phra Pin Klao Bridge to support the homeless. They helped register individuals into social support systems, provided laundry services, and distributed 300 hygiene kits and lunch boxes—efforts that promoted dignity and improved daily life for some of the city’s most vulnerable residents.
Ride to Recovery: Ford Helps Homeless Patients Access Healthcare More Easily
On September 25, Ford launched the Ride to Recovery program in partnership with the Mirror Foundation, a transport service providing homeless individuals rides to medical appointments. The program helps them recover from illness, regain their health, and begin a pathway back to stability and employment.
