Meet the Ford Team Member and Working Mom Who Helped Simplify How Customers Stay Connected

Sep 29, 2025

The all-new 2025 Ford Expedition was designed for families with big lives. In the below video, take a glimpse into the life of the Integrated Services Team’s Jaife Rainelli, a working mom in Miami who uses the Ford Digital Experience with the Connectivity Package to keep her family moving and spending time together.

We also sat down with Jaife to learn more about her and her job within Integrated Services.

What is your job at Ford?

I currently work within the Integrated Services Connect and Engage team, where we are responsible for the rollout of our seamless connectivity offering for customers to access our digital systems, as well as the apps that enhance the in-vehicle experience such as the launch of Stingray Karaoke and Zoom.

What do you mean by seamless connectivity?

To access all of the great apps like YouTube, embedded maps and Wi-Fi hotspot in your vehicle, it requires connectivity. Previously, there were a-la-carte options depending on your vehicle’s digital system to activate Wi-Fi hotspot, maps or embedded vehicle connectivity. You had to subscribe to each separately, and for Wi-Fi hotspot, you had to jump through multiple hoops to activate it outside of Ford.

Our team set out to simplify how customers activate connectivity with a bundled Connectivity Package. Depending on the system’s capabilities, the Connectivity Package allows you to access embedded apps, maps and Wi-Fi hotspot seamlessly via one package. You can activate the included year via the Ford or Lincoln app followed by an annual or monthly subscription plan, or if you don’t want to worry about it, you can purchase a one-time plan at vehicle order.

Is the Connectivity Package available on all vehicles?

It is currently available on the 2025 Expedition and 2025 Mustang Mach-E, and we are expanding the package to most 2026 model year vehicles with SYNC 4, SYNC 4A or the Ford and Lincoln Digital Experience.

How do you think the digital system and connectivity can make life easier for busy moms?

As a working mom with two kids under 4, life can be chaotic at times. They are now both in pre-school and have started after-school activities. My son is in soccer, and my daughter is taking ballet for the first time, which I’m very excited for, as I used to dance ballet professionally and I have come full circle, so I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The thing I love most about my new Expedition and the Ford Digital Experience is that you don’t need your phone to connect – you get in and you go. Once you do the one-time set-up, all of your favorite apps and saved destinations for maps transfer over to the vehicle.  Plus, with the all-new Ford Connectivity Package, I have access to the entire digital system – maps, app and an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot. It gives me all of the connectivity I need to make the most of my vehicle. I am able to use Google Maps to get where we need to go with a simple “Hey Google” voice prompt, embedded apps from the Google Play Store to stay productive with Zoom or listen to music with Spotify, and the kids can connect their tablets to the Wi-Fi hotspot to stay entertained.

Tell us more about you. You said you previously danced professionally?

I grew up in Miami and have danced ballet my entire life. I had the opportunity to dance professionally for the Florida Grand Opera before I started my professional career at Uber. I also had the opportunity to perform ballet as my pageant talent, landing me the title of Miss Miami and second runner up in the Miss Florida pageant through the Miss America Organization. Today, it is all about being a mom and raising my kids with my husband. I have two kids who are the light of my life – Simone (2) and Stefano (4). They are my everything.

What did you do at Uber?

In Miami, living in the city, there are many people that don’t have the means to get around or easily access transportation. If you can think back to the 2010 era, ride hailing services were not at your fingertips. You could not just walk off a plane and hail a ride. Every city had its own policies. With Uber, I had the honor of launching Uber Miami and Uber Key West. It was a great opportunity and experience but most importantly I was doing something to positively impact my city. I moved to DC to continue my work at Uber then I went to WeWork before joining Ford.

What brought you to Ford and what keeps you?

I wanted stability and structure with my career to start a family and was ready to move on from the start-up life. At the time, Ford was testing autonomous vehicles in Miami and a contact from college brought me on board. As the business transitioned, I have been blessed to expand my expertise in various parts of Ford. The people are what make Ford such an amazing place to work.
