Ford Vietnam Organizes 2025 National Skill Contest to Elevate Service Excellence

Sep 10, 2025

Ford Vietnam successfully organized the 2025 National Skill Contest on September 6 at Hai Duong Plant. From more than 150 contestants representing 52 dealers, the top 30 finalists advanced to the national round, competing in three categories: Sales Consultant, Service Advisor, and Technician.

In the lead-up to the contest, participants spent months preparing and sharpening both technical expertise and soft skills. The final round challenged them with a mix of theory tests and hands-on exercises that reflected real dealership scenarios – from customer consultation and service diagnostics to practical situations when dealing directly with customer.

Speaking at the event, Tran Tien Duc, FCSD Director of Ford Vietnam, said:
“The Skill Contest is not only a stage to showcase knowledge, skills, and experience, but also a valuable opportunity for us to learn, connect, and continuously improve ourselves. Ford Vietnam always puts people at the center, and developing our team’s capability is key to enhancing service quality and customer experience.”

Ruchik Shah, Managing Director of Ford Vietnam, added:
“The training programs and skill contests are not only about improving or testing knowledge and skills. More importantly, they reflect the spirit of continuous learning, teamwork, and the aspiration for excellence – values that define Ford Vietnam and our dealer network.”

Vi Minh Quang, Technician Champion from Quang Ninh Ford, shared:
“For me, the Skill Contest is not just a stage to demonstrate capability, but also a chance to gain practical lessons from colleagues nationwide. Winning the Technician category gives me the honor to represent Ford Vietnam at the upcoming IMG Regional Skill Contest in Thailand – a strong motivation to keep improving and serve customers better.”

With nearly 900 technicians nationwide, and more than 80% certified at L1–L3 levels, Ford Vietnam continues to raise the bar for service quality. The National Skill Contest remains a cornerstone in developing dealer capability and delivering consistent, customer-focused service.

The 2025 National Skill Contest stands as a proud testament to Ford Vietnam’s commitment to people and service excellence – a journey where we continue to conquer new heights together.
