Ford Thailand Elevated After-Sales: 19th Technician Competition Enhances Service Precision and Customer Confidence

Sep 24, 2025

Ford Thailand continues its mission of 'Convenience, Confidence, and Impression' by hosting its 19th Technician Skills Competition and Technician Forum on September 20, 2025. The event, held under the concept of 'Fix It Right the First Time (FIRTFT) with Peace-of-Mind Communication,' also served as a seminar platform for technicians from Ford dealerships nationwide to exchange experiences, enhance knowledge, and develop skills, aiming to elevate after-sales service standards and deliver the best customer experience.

After the three-hour-long competition held under intensely simulated conditions, Mr. Sophon Srisawat and Mr. Worawut Luearak from Ford Ayutthaya secured the championship title by achieving the highest score within the allotted time, showcasing both their technical expertise and systematic teamwork.

Ford Thailand has continuously organized the Technician Skills Competition for 19 years to enhance the competencies of our personnel, as technicians are crucial in delivering excellent service experiences and ensuring peace of mind for Ford vehicle owners. This year's competition also emphasized a clarity of communication with customers to build confidence every time a vehicle visits a Ford service center.

In the final round, the competing technician teams (team of two) faced a real-world scenario, from listening to customer issues and collaboratively planning work within a set timeframe to inspecting and analyzing vehicle systems with Ford's highly accurate technical tools. They also had to record data and clearly explain repair procedures to ensure customer understanding and peace of mind, aligning with Ford's ‘FIRTFT’ approach. The competition was rigorously overseen by expert judges, with executives and staff from Ford Thailand and the International Markets Group attending to support the contestants.

The winners of the 2025 Ford Technician Skills Competition are:

  • Winners: Mr. Sophon Srisawat and Mr. Worawut Luearak from Ford Ayutthaya.

This initiative also facilitates the transfer of new Ford vehicle technologies, aiming to deliver the best service to both current and future customers under the 'Convenience, Confidence, and Impression' after-sales service philosophy.
