Wanted! Ford Nominees Sought for Autocar ‘s ‘Drivers of Change’ Awards

Aug 13, 2025

DUNTON, UK - Autocar’s Drivers of Change awards will return in November, celebrating new talent from across the automotive industry, and you can now nominate a Ford colleague for a trophy.

Autocar Editor Mark Tisshaw explains: “The second edition of Drivers of Change will celebrate new talent from across the automotive industry. We will highlight the UK's best and brightest automotive talent - namely apprentices and anyone in the first two years of their career - from backgrounds that are typically under-represented in the industry. There will also be a special award for the company doing the most to support and develop new talent.”

He adds: “The goal of Drivers of Change is to celebrate the automotive industry as a place where you can have a thriving career no matter what your background is, and to promote the industry as a great place to work for those from all different backgrounds.

“We encourage you to spread the word and consider nominating anyone from across your wider organisation – no matter which sector of the automotive industry – who meets those broad criteria and has a compelling story to tell.”

If you would like to nominate a colleague for an Autocar Drivers of Change Award, you can do so via this link.

Earlier this year, at the inaugural Autocar Drivers of Change awards, four Ford leaders were praised for delivering excellence in their respective fields for their work mainly in DEI initiatives.

Berenice Kude, Skills Sprint Operational Lead, Ford UK, was applauded for “leading the product development charge for Ford Britain to reskill vital gaps within electrification, electronics and controls, big data, management and leadership, software engineering and human-centred design”.

Nadia Price, Learning and Development Manager, Ford Britain, was honoured for “overseeing the HR Talent charge, leading a shake-up and a call to action for Ford Britain”.

Emma Hill, treasurer, FCE Bank PLC, was praised for “leading a cross-cultural team of 11 individuals based in both the UK and India, and cultivating a collaborative and agile environment”.

Philipp Loewer, Ford Europe’s internal communications lead, was congratulated for “fundamentally enhancing employee engagement”.
