The period from mid-July to early August marks the critical phase of China's main flood season and the most complex period for flood prevention. During this time, the ForDR Program continues its efforts, persistently conducting disaster prevention training across China, striving to enhance public emergency awareness. Recently, Ford's ForDR Program arrived in Chongqing, collaborating with the dealer Chongqing Anfu to conduct two emergency rescue sessions, educating over 80 local vehicle owners and residents on flood safety and mutual-aid techniques.

This training session featured instructors from the Xiamen Dawn Emergency Rescue Team, whose courses combined real-life rescue cases to address emergency situations that people may encounter during daily travel. They provided detailed explanations of practical techniques such as making temporary safety signal flags, creating lifesaving bottles, and performing vehicle submersion rescue, as well as hands-on practice of the first aid skills like CPR and wound bandaging.

During the event, Ford China presented Chongqing Anfu with a plaque, marking the official launch of the 6th "ForDR Alliance Emergency Support Station." Also at the same time, CAF Chongqing signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Xiamen Dawn Rescue Team and The Dawm Rescue Alliance (Chongqing) to provide comprehensive support including rescue vehicle maintenance and supplies.

Currently, the ForDR Program 2025 has conducted disaster prevention trainings for local residents at 12 Ford showrooms in 9 cities, and established 6 "ForDR Alliance Emergency Support Stations" with local dealers. The ForDR Alliance volunteer network continues to expand. As a key Ford CSR program, ForDR leverages disaster prevention training and the ForDR Alliance as dual pillars to cultivate grassroots disaster response teams centered on Ford owners, support disaster rescue, and build multi-stakeholder collaboration.
