
A new Ford Explorer rolled off the final assembly line at Changan Ford’s Hangzhou plant on August 2, making it the one-millionth vehicle produced at the plant since it began production a decade ago in March 2015. The Hangzhou plant is a key manufacturing center for Ford in China, producing premium Ford and Lincoln brand models. The plant was established with a significant investment as part of Ford’s strategy to grow in China and has highly flexible production lines that are capable of producing multiple vehicle models.
