Ford’s SuperTruck is King of the Hill at Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climb

DUNTON, UK – Ford’s F150 Lightning SuperTruck claimed the fastest hill climb time at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, completing the challenging 1.16 -mile course in just 43.23 seconds in the hands of Romain Dumas.

And Ford’s Mustang GTD, driven by Dirk Muller also made it into the top 10, claiming eighth place in a time of 50.78 seconds.

An estimated quarter of a million people attended this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed where Ford celebrated 60 years of Transit by running every iteration of Supervan from the original 1971 machine right up to the 2024 Supervan 4.2 up the hill climb.

Bill Ford also attended the event and took a passenger ride up the hill in Supervan before meeting greeting Ford employees on the Ford stand.
