In May, employees at our Silverton Assembly Plant (including the main plant, CSO and the frames plant) were invited to experience a powerful new addition to our workplace safety strategy - the rollout of our new emergency response vehicles, showcased over a three-day introduction period.
Built on the recently launched Ford Transit, these ambulances are fully equipped to deliver rapid, high-quality care when every second counts. Inside, you’ll find state-of-the-art stretchers, secure medical storage, and everything needed for efficient first response.
But these vehicles are more than just machines - they’re part of a broader investment in people and safety. Our fully trained emergency response team was onsite during the showcase to walk employees through the equipment, demonstrate procedures, and highlight how these new tools will support them in their mission to protect lives.
We also introduced smaller support vehicles, ensuring swift access even in hard-to-reach areas of the plant. The entire fleet has been designed with one clear purpose: to create a safer, faster, and more responsive environment for all Ford employees.
At Ford, safety is more than a protocol. With these new vehicles, we’re able to deliver on safety in and around the plants like never before.
