Building Together – Ford Vietnam and the Dealer Network support Central Vietnam during the flooding

As severe flooding continues to affect communities across Central Vietnam, Ford Vietnam and the nationwide Dealer network have taken immediate action to deliver urgent assistance to affected areas — reaffirming Ford’s commitment to “Building Together”.

On November 17, the Ha Tinh Ford team arrived at Cam Due and Cam Binh communes to provide essential relief packages including warm blankets, rice, food, and daily necessities to households recovering from extensive flooding. Despite difficult traveling conditions caused by weather and roadblocks, the team demonstrated outstanding dedication to ensure supplies reached those who needed them most.

More than material support, each gift carried empathy, encouragement, and hope — a reminder that Ford stands with the community not only in times of convenience, but especially in times of hardship. The relief mission was supported by the local authorities and community organizations, whose collaboration enabled the program to run smoothly and meaningfully.

A remarkable contribution from the Ford customer community

Alongside the coordinated efforts of Ford Vietnam and Dealers, another powerful act of kindness emerged during the flooding: the contribution of Ford owners.

With widespread power outages in multiple areas, many residents were unable to contact their families or access emergency information. Understanding the urgency, several Ford pickup owners drove directly into flooded neighborhoods and used the onboard power outlets from their vehicles to help residents charge their mobile devices. For many families, that moment of connection — hearing from their loved ones or receiving official safety updates — made all the difference.

In the midst of a natural disaster, Ford trucks became mobile power stations, and Ford owners became volunteers of the heart. Their actions reflect the shared values of the Ford community — responsibility, compassion, and solidarity.
