Bronco Wild Fund: Five Years of Outdoor Stewardship – and Two New Commitments

Nov 18, 2025

Today we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Bronco Wild Fund (BWF) at the historic Will Rogers State Historic Park. This milestone represents half a decade of our unwavering commitment to promoting responsible access, preservation and stewardship of America's cherished outdoor spaces.

We are commemorating five years of impact by announcing significant new commitments. In response to urgent needs following the devastating 2025 Palisades Fire in the Los Angeles area, the Bronco Wild Fund is directing its efforts to help restore these impacted lands and outdoor recreation spaces. To that end, we are making two important commitments:

First, a commitment of $100,000 to the National Forest Foundation (NFF) will support vital wildfire restoration efforts across California, helping to re-establish critical ecosystems.

“Over the past five years, Bronco Wild Fund has invested more than $2 million in National Forest Foundation projects that restore trails, plant trees, and strengthen recreation access nationwide” said Dieter Fenkart-Froeschl, president and CEO of the National Forest Foundation, “This new investment in California’s Klamath National Forest extends that impact where maintaining healthy forests  is essential for wildfire resilience during intense fire seasons.”

Second, we are committing another $100,000 to California State Parks through America's State Parks Foundation. This funding is specifically directed toward state parks impacted by the recent Pacific Palisades fire. This includes our celebration venue, Will Rogers State Historic Park, which has been working diligently to reopen after sustaining damage. This contribution will aid in the park's recovery and help ensure its continued accessibility for all visitors.

Since its launch in 2020, the Bronco Wild Fund has been an integral part of the Bronco brand's mission, ensuring that our spirit of adventure is matched by a deep commitment to conservation. We believe in safeguarding these natural treasures so that future generations can enjoy the wild just as we do.

The Bronco Wild Fund is powered by a portion of the proceeds from every Bronco and Bronco Sport SUV sale. This funding allows us to inspire and enable outdoor enthusiasts to connect with nature responsibly.

Our collaborative approach, working with esteemed organizations, has been key to delivering on our core pillars: increasing access to outdoor experiences, preserving natural lands and promoting responsible stewardship for the future. We have built strong partnerships with groups like the National Forest Foundation, America's State Parks, Outward Bound USA, Sons of Smokey, Tread Lightly! and American Trails.

One of our proudest achievements has been our robust reforestation program with the National Forest Foundation. Together, we have facilitated the planting of more than 2 million trees across the U.S. since 2020, which includes planting a tree for every Bronco and Bronco Sport sold through 2024.

Our collaboration with America's State Parks extends beyond these immediate relief efforts. We have supported numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing outdoor access and experiences, including "Built Wild Days" events that encourage communities to engage with their local state parks. We have also donated 25 trackchairs to state parks nationwide in 2023 and 2024, significantly improving accessibility for individuals with limited mobility. These efforts, alongside contributions of $9.8 million to various causes, demonstrate our comprehensive approach to outdoor advocacy.

“Our ongoing partnership with Bronco Wild Fund has helped ensure parks are available and accessible for all visitors through projects like accessible trail construction, park education, mobility devices and habitat restoration. In 2025, as BWF celebrated five years of supporting ASP, they awarded grants to projects in Louisiana, Wisconsin, Vermont, North Dakota, Alabama and New Mexico,” said Paul McCormack, president of the National Association of State Park Directors.

As we look ahead, the Bronco Wild Fund remains steadfast in its mission to "keep the great outdoors great."

By continuing to connect people to the outdoors responsibly, we aim to inspire a new generation of stewards and ensure that America's natural wonders remain vibrant and accessible for years to come.
