Join Ford Run Club on Strava for the Chance to Win an Entry into the 2026 London Marathon

Nov 07, 2025

DUNTON, UK – Ford has teamed up with Strava to launch an exciting new challenge for runners that could win them an entry into next year’s TCS London Marathon.

It’s called “Driven to Run” and it kicks off on November 10. The challenge? Completing 10 days of 30-minute physical activity over four weeks in specific sports.

Ford’s Howard Kee explains: “As part of our three-year contract with The London Marathon as the ‘Official Electric Vehicle Supplier of the TCS London Marathon’, we are delighted to partner with Strava to launch “Driven to Run”, which is the embodiment of the new brand strategy, Ready Set Ford.

“We have a specific competition just for employees. To enter they must download the Strava app either on Android or IOS, create an account and join Ford Run Club on Strava. In order to be eligible to win a place, entrants must complete 10 days of 30 minutes of physical activity between November 10 and December 7. This physical activity must be logged by the Strava app and then the completion email from Strava will act as proof of participation. Employees shouldn’t fill in the online form, but should submit a copy of their completion email from Strava to foenews@ford.com.

“Two people who submit proof of completion will be drawn at random after the end of the challenge and each will then receive an entry into the 2026 TCS London Marathon which takes place on April 26. The winners also will receive a finish line hospitality place for them and a plus one.”

Interested? It couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is download the Strava App, create an account, and then join Ford Run Club on Strava by clicking this link.

Howard adds: “The Ford Run Club will build an active community both on and offline, with the incentive to win a place in the 2026 London Marathon, amongst other exciting prizes. Whether you’ve always dreamed of running a marathon, run one already and looking for your next challenge, everyone is welcome, because you are more capable than you think you are.”
