COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Ford has announced a record order for 500 new electric vans for Danish supplier Bravida. It is the largest order for electric vans for Ford – and probably one of the largest single orders for electric vans ever in Denmark.
Combined with the previous purchase of 300 electric Ford Transit vans in 2025, this latest order of Ford E-Transit Custom and Ford E-Transit Courier models - due for delivery next year - means Bravida, Denmark's largest supplier of technical total solutions within service and installation, will have a fleet consisting of 60 per cent electric vehicles by the end of 2026.
“We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Bravida, which marks a significant acceleration of the electrification of vans in Denmark,” says Frank Skjærbæk, CEO of Ford at NCG Motor Company.
“The order for 500 electric Ford Transit vans not only underlines Bravida’s commitment to electrification but also shows that Ford Transit is a strong choice for companies that want to combine robustness, efficiency and a focus on more responsible operation. At Ford, we make a living by delivering innovative solutions that support our customers’ ambitions. Together with Bravida, Ford wants to accelerate the transition to electric transport and pave the way for greater focus on sustainability in the transport sector in Denmark.”
