VALENCIA, Spain – Ford’s new Kuga and Puma Gen-E Sound Editions played a key role at this week’s LOS40 MUSIC AWARDS SANTANDER 2025, transporting stars including Ed Sheeran to the red carpet and the stage at the Roig Arena in Valencia.
Ford Spain is an official sponsor of the prestigious LOS40 MUSIC AWARDS SANTANDER 2025 -an event boasting a stellar lineup that in addition to Ed Sheeran included Rosalía, Aitana, Feid, Dani Martín, Pablo Alborán, Rels B, Morat, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Nicky Jam, Mora, and many others.
The new Kuga and Puma Gen-E Sound Edition were part of a fleet of official Ford transport vehicles at the event and have been designed to transform every trip into an unparalleled acoustic experience, offering customers superior sound quality to what most can experience in their own homes.
Equipped with a B&O Premium sound system, they also feature more powerful and optimized speakers that have been precisely designed and acoustically calibrated to maximize their performance with different sound sources and driving conditions.

“With the Sound Edition versions of the Puma Gen-E, Puma, and Kuga, we offer our customers a sound experience that would be difficult and expensive to replicate at home,” said Jon Williams, Managing Director of Ford Blue in Europe.
“Along with distinctive visual elements, high-quality materials, and exclusive color combinations, we have created models with a unique personality and the promise of a spectacular soundtrack for every journey.”
The Puma, Puma Gen-E, and Kuga models already offer the optional B&O Premium sound system with 10 speakers and 575 watts of power for exceptional sound reproduction.
The Sound Edition versions elevate this performance with hardware upgrades and a comprehensive acoustic tuning program that allows each component to be used to its full potential.
In the Puma and Puma Gen-E, the total power increases to 650 watts; in the Kuga, it reaches an impressive 700 watts, guaranteeing consistent sound quality even at high volumes, without distortion.
Each Sound Edition model has undergone a rigorous acoustic calibration process by HARMAN's expert sound engineers. They used specialized software and curated playlists from various musical genres, combining technical tools with auditory sensitivity to fine-tune the system to achieve a balanced and immersive sound quality in every seat.
