Tokio Hotel Frontman Bill Kaulitz Snaps up Classic Ford Bronco at Auction

Oct 30, 2025

Bill Kaulitz, the German singer/song writer, style icon and leader of band Tokio Hotel, has just become the new owner of this beautifully restored 1969 Ford Bronco.

Bill, together with his identical twin Tom, couldn’t resist the classic off roader when it came up for sale at this month’s Scottsdale Fall Auction.

The resto-modified Bronco combines vintage character with modern performance and features a Ford Performance 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, Velocity-built chassis, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.

The interior boasts a custom tan design with plaid seat inserts, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, and a 7-inch Alpine infotainment system — all finished in a stunning Boxwood Green.

And the price? $257,000.

The Kaulitz brothers’ enthusiasm for the Bronco shows just how timeless and inspiring this vehicle remains. Decades after its debut, this classic Bronco continues to capture attention — not only from collectors and enthusiasts, but also from global personalities who appreciate Ford’s unique mix of heritage, craftsmanship, and style.

You might have come across Tokio Hotel in the early 2000s; they had their breakthrough with the song "Durch den Monsun" in 2005, which quickly soared to number one on the German and Austrian singles charts. Since then, they've established an impressive and enduring career, still actively performing and releasing music nearly 20 years later. The band has sold over 10 million records worldwide, earning more than 70 platinum and 120 gold awards, and accumulating over 110 national and international accolades.

The celebrity duo also brought their camera crew to the auction and were actively filming for the highly anticipated third season of "Kaulitz & Kaulitz," which will air next year on Netflix.
