On Monday, June 10, Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference featured an exciting moment of collaboration between Ford and the tech giant. As part of revealing new iOS 18 custom controls and personalization capability, which allows third-party developers to create home screen widgets on iPhone, Apple leaders demonstrated using a Mustang Mach-E climate control interface via the Control Center. The new Control Center mirrors popular functions in the FordPass app.

This ability to access frequently used controls from your Control Center will be available to FordPass users later this year. It’s a win for Ford and vehicle owners as we work to maximize choice for Ford and Lincoln customers. More than half of Ford and Lincoln drivers connect their mobile devices to their vehicles, and a feature like this one makes the relationship between phone and vehicle feel even more natural and interconnected.
