Ford delivered its best-ever quarterly hybrid sales in the U.S. during Q1, while EV sales were up 86%.
Led by its best-ever quarterly hybrid sales, which date back more than 20 years, Ford and Lincoln outpaced the industry with a first-quarter sales increase of 7 percent in the U.S. Ford Maverick was America’s No. 1 selling hybrid truck in Q1, with sales up 77 percent over a year ago. Ford was the country’s No. 2 electric vehicle brand with sales up 86 percent behind gains of 77%, 80% and 148% for Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning and E-Transit, respectively, marking the best-ever sales quarter for E-Transit since it went on sale in 2022.
