Bob Tasca III qualified second in Nitro Funny Car in Phoenix with a 3.876 at 334.65, but only was able to do so in one full run and was not able make any other full passes in qualifying. -

The No. 64 Proton Competition Mustang GT3 of Frédéric Vervisch, Dennis Olsen and Chris Mies placed 10th in the opening Endurance Cup round in the GT World Challenge Europe at Circuit Paul Ricard. -
Qualifying 16th of all Pro class competitors, Vervisch recorded the fastest top speed of the field as the starter of about 181 mph, challenging for a spot in the top 10. -

Donny Schatz earned his fourth podium in six races, finishing second in the World of Outlaws series at US 36 Raceway in Missouri. -
He finished second in Heat 3 and started seventh in the main feature. -
Schatz qualified 15th at Arrowhead Speedway in Oklahoma and drove to an 11th-place finish, ending his streak of top-10 finishes. -
