Ford Performance’s Electric Vehicle Demonstrator, Super Cobra Jet 1800, set a new NHRA record for the fastest electric vehicle in the quarter mile in California, and Mustang swept the top three qualifying positions in two of the three races of the Repco Supercars Championship in Australia.

Super Cobra Jet 1800 set the new NHRA record for fastest electric vehicle in the quarter mile with a time of 7.759 seconds at 180.14 mph.

This resets the previous record set by the Super Cobra Jet 1400, which was a time of 8.128 seconds at 171.97 miles per hour, set back in 2021 by Bob Tasca.
