Today on @FordOnline we begin a video series designed to provide a snapshot of the trends featured in the 2024 Further with Ford trends report.

The 12th annual trend report examines a shift that is happening. In an uncertain and transforming world, people are reclaiming control. There is a prevailing trend today toward making intentional choices. As society prepares for an AI-driven future, people are hopeful that it may take some of the burden off their shoulders, allowing them to focus on more fulfilling endeavors. By making deliberate decisions in their relationships, careers and personal growth, they’re striving for lives filled with purpose and satisfaction.

In this video, Chief Futurist Jennifer Brace discusses a trend she calls “Family 2.0.” The concept of family is undergoing a significant transformation, as the conventional norms of marriage and parenthood are no longer considered mandatory. People are redefining what a family is, creating the family they want and moving beyond the traditional definition.
