Ford’s Steven Croley Named ‘Legend in Law’

Ford Motor Company Chief Policy Officer and General Counsel, Steven Croley has received a “Legends in Law” award from the Burton Awards Program, a national non-profit run in association with the U.S. Library of Congress. 

Croley is one of 19 general counsels selected based on their exceptional integrity, professionalism, and leadership in addressing complex legal challenges of national and global significance. They are recognized for their proven track records in navigating specialized areas of law and for their innovative approaches to resolving critical issues. 

William Burton, Founder and Chair of the national awards program, remarked, “The 2025 Legends in Law are luminaries who have truly distinguished themselves in the profession [and have] earned the honor by being exemplary leaders in law.” 

A ceremony will take place on May 19, 2025, at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
