The United States Postal Service debuted its E-Transit delivery van, one of more than 9,000 the organization is expected to purchase as part of its plant to create a more sustainable future.
Ford Pro is helping electrify the largest federal fleet in the country and the United States Postal Service gave a first look at its new E-Transit delivery van and EV charging stations. Ford President and CEO Jim Farley offered his congratulations to the postal service on the progress made in its plan to deliver a more sustainable future, which includes a commitment to purchase more than 9,000 E-Transit vans through the end of this year. The E-Transits offer nearly three times the cargo capacity of the organization’s current fleet of delivery vehicles, which will help the USPS improve its efficiency and delivery operations.
