Ford Brings Adventure-Inspired Lineup To Chengdu Motor Show Ford Ranger 1st Edition and Explorer Titanium Plus Start Pre-Sales

Today, Ford announced the pre-sale prices of Ford Ranger 1st Edition and Explorer Titanium Plus, as well as its all-new channel brand "Ford Beyond" at the 26th Chengdu Motor Show, strengthening its "Wild and Tough" brand image in China.

"Ford has always been a passionate brand with numerous highly-recognizable iconic nameplates in its 120-year history. We are focusing on our strength and very committed to bringing these products to our customers in China." said Sam Wu, president, and CEO of Ford China. 

The pre-sale price of Ford Ranger 1st Edition is RMB269,800, with a limitation of 800 units. Ford also announced the price for Ranger from no higher than RMB160,000. 

Also in display at Ford Beyond booth is the legendary Ford Bronco, which will come to China market in spring 2024. With a legacy of over 50 years, Ford Bronco delivers thrilling off-road experiences with heritage-inspired style, rugged engineering, and smart technology. Both Ranger and Bronco will be on sales through Ford Beyond Channels in China.

Ford also brought many of its all-star off-road nameplates to Chengdu, including the highly sought-after Ford F-150 Raptor Special Edition. The Ford F-Series pickup has been the best-selling pickup in the United States for 46 consecutive years, and the best-selling model in the United States for 41 consecutive years, with a cumulative global sales of 40 million units. The Ford F-150 Raptor sells through an official direct sales model in China.

At the Chengdu Auto Show, Ford Explorer Titanium Plus Edition made its debut and started pre-sales, with a price of RMB399,800. 

Corresponding to its iconic off-road lineup, Ford introduced its new channel brand "Ford Beyond". In addition to legendary pickups and off-road models such as the Ford F-150 Raptor, Ford Bronco, and Ford Ranger, Ford Beyond aims to create a leading off-road ecosystem and become an advocator for off-road & outdoor activity lifestyle experience, focusing on unrivaled product experience, personalized modification experience and a globally connected community experience. Starting from October this year, Ford Beyond plans to establish over 200 experience stores in major cities and regions nationwide. In the future, they will gradually expand their coverage based on local market conditions, building a profitable and healthy dealer network system.
