Jingle Bells Gets a Twist as E-Transit Powers Polish Musicians

Dec 21, 2023

COLOGNE, Germany – It’s one of the most recognisable Christmas songs ever, but this version of Jingle Bells is truly unique.

It was recorded in the back of an E-Transit by Polish country band Electric Cowboyz, and it features subtly tweaked lyrics that pay homage to Ford’s all-electric future.

Ford’s Mariusz Jasinski explains: “This E-Transit Mobile Studio could possibly be the smallest mobile stage in the world. Electric Cowboyz created their own country style arrangement to the tune and changed the lyrics a bit to give it humorous tonality.

“What makes it even more unique is that E-Transit and its Pro Power Onboard system provided all the electricity for their performance.”

Did you know?
Jingle Bells was written in 1850 and was recorded on Thomas Edison's phonograph cylinder in 1889 making it the first Christmas recording ever.

Jingle Bells also became the first song played in space when, on December 16, 1965, it was broadcasted during NASA’s Gemini 6A space flight.

Interestingly, Ford Motor Company cooperated with NASA on the Gemini program, designing, and creating the mission control center.
