Ford and the Ford Fund launched a program to promote responsible mineral sourcing and empower women working in the copper and cobalt supply chains in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2021. This is one example of how Ford is investing in programs all across the world to elevate the lives of the people in communities in which we operate.
While Ford Motor Company has much progress to celebrate on the 75th anniversary of International Human Rights Day, we have further to go in order to be a true global leader in protecting communities.
