COLOGNE, Germany – Every September, Ford employees world-wide give up their time to support the communities where they live and work as part of Global Caring Month, and this year our colleagues in Europe really did us proud.
Thanks to help from the Ford Motor Company Fund, they completed 34 projects involving more than 500 volunteers completing over 6,500 hours with help ranging from centre refurbishments, gardening and environmental projects, literacy support, preparing and delivering food, mentoring, running, bike donations sessions, and more.
“Ford’s Global Caring Month provides employees with meaningful ways to help strengthen communities and make a difference in people’s lives,” said Debbie Chennells, Ford Fund Europe. “Yet again thousands of employees across Europe jumped at the chance to help and I want to thank them and their non-profits partners for their time and commitment and showing how much they care.”
