The Lincoln Navigator is already very Serena and ‘dressed up’ like this it’s even more so. I have always liked strong, bold design and black details. Plus, my own Navigator always brings so much comfort and serenity into my life, so it really helps me arrive to these big moments feeling calm.
The two icons arrived in style as Williams made her showstopping entrance in a custom-wrapped Navigator that complemented her Thom Browne black, sequin gown. The evening was a significant moment for Williams as she became the first athlete to receive the Fashion Icon award, underlining her multifaceted achievements as a tennis legend, entrepreneur, philanthropist, designer, and more.
