Ronnachart ‘Angbao’ Mahakpichian, young talented university student artist and a ‘Packing Room Prize’ winner from River City Bangkok Portrait competition in 2022, handed over his oil painting portrait of ‘Carroll Shelby’ to Ford Thailand. The painting was received by Ratthakarn Jutasen, managing director, Ford Thailand and is now displayed at the company’s reception hall.
Angbao, a freshman student at Thailand’s premier arts university ‘Silpakorn,’ watched the ‘Ford v Ferrari’ movie several times and became a fan of ‘Carroll Shelby’ starred by Matt Damon. He enjoyed the excitement of this film that captured racing passion and determination.
Angbao made Shelby’s unique personal character relived with his drawing and painting styles during his last year of high school. The portrait of Shelby was chosen to be one of the 12 paintings showcased at Bangkok River City during June 29 to July 31, 2023.
